Month of Advocacy
Month of Advocacy
Get Involved
Each year, CFRA hosts a Month of Advocacy in the early Spring to engage members and Family Resource Centers to advocate for policies and actions that support Family Resource Centers. In the past, these policies have included FRC budget proposals, preventing budget cuts to programs that support the families FRCs serve, and increasing FRC awareness through legislator contacts and visits.
Month of Advocacy focuses on telling the story of family resource centers, the impacts they have in the communities they serve, and why they need sustainable funding and support to continue their vital work. Month of Advocacy includes both member-exclusive resources and events, as well as tools available to the public.
If you are interested in participatingin the member exclusive activities of Month of Advocacy, we encourage you to join the CFRA network!
