Month of Advocacy
Each year, CFRA hosts a "Month of Advocacy" in the early Spring to engage members and family resource centers to advocate for policies and actions that support family resource centers. In the past, these policies have included FRC Budget Proposals, preventing budget cuts to programs that support the families FRCs serve, and increasing FRC awareness for legislators through contacts and legislative visits.
Month of Advocacy will focus on telling the story of family resource centers, the impacts they have in the communities they serve, and why they need sustainable support to continue their vital work. Month of Advocacy includes both member-exclusive resources and events, as well as tools available to the public for advocacy.
If you are interested in participating in member-exclusive activities, such as Month of Advocacy, we encourage you to join the CFRA network!
