Advocacy Academy: Building Relationships & Impacting Policy

This course helps participants understand how government works and how to engage with it effectively. You’ll learn how to identify the local, state, and federal officials most relevant to your work, gain insight into how policies are shaped through legislation and budgets, and build skills to confidently schedule, prepare for, and participate in legislative visits or testimony.
