It is important to take time to build relationships among Neighborhood Stakeholders Group (NSG) members. This is equally as important as accomplishing milestones in the process and must be an intentional part of NSG agenda design.

• Neighborhood Stakeholders Group agendas were designed so that NSG members could work in small groups to get to know each other better.
• It is important to structure small groups to ensure that NSG members build relationships across ethnic, racial and linguistic lines. The Journey Map exercise was particularly helpful.
