Results Oriented Community Change (ROCC) is a process that helps neighborhood residents achieve the results they desire in their community. A result could be school success for youth measured by increased parent involvement in elementary school or increased community safety measured by reduced youth homicides. Community residents come together to discover their community results, choose one result and indicator, analyze why their community has this result, and focus their resources and energy on improving that indicator.
This website presents a case study of ROCC in Southeast Stockton and lessons learned, the theory and principles and components of successful ROCC implementation. The site offers tools, materials and tips for starting ROCC in your community. |
