CFRA is about RESOURCES. Resources that support effective program operation, evaluation and outreach. Resources that build the capacity of our members to develop public policy and secure funding. Resources that help us create sustainable futures for children, families and communities.

This page is to provide information and linkages that support our core functions of public policy development, capacity building and networking. Whether you are looking to learn about new funding opportunities, review key evaluation reports or download user-friendly tools or templates, we want to provide you with the necessary resources to help children and families thrive and succeed.

PUBLIC POLICY RESOURCES

Briefings, research findings, case studies, outcomes analyses, trends and fact sheets by key issue areas.

CAPACITY BUILDING RESOURCES

Evaluation tools and information, community partnership approaches, leadership development resources, guides to legislative and government processes, communication strategies and other supports for improving the effectiveness of family centered programs statewide.

Central to our focus is building the capacity of family-serving organizations to document their results and openly share these results with policymakers and stakeholders as a means of developing issue awareness, improving outcomes and securing funding.

  • Action Alliance for Children exists to inform, educate, and inspire a statewide constituency of people who work with and on behalf of children by providing the most reliable information on current issues, trends, and public policies that affect children and families.
  • The California Budget Project (CBP) serves as a resource to the media, policymakers, and state and local constituency groups seeking accurate information and analysis of a range of state policy issues.
