Family Resource Center – community-based organization that provides services and supports to families to help them help themselves. The approach is holistic, comprehensive, preventive and asset-based. Programs bring together professionals, volunteers and families to improve outcomes in family functioning, family economic success, health and well-being, and school readiness and success.

Results Accountability – a framework developed by Mark Friedman of the Fiscal Policy Studies Institute. Mark defines RA as “a disciplined way of thinking and taking action that can be used to improve the quality of life in communities, cities, counties, states and nations…and improve the performance of programs, agencies and service systems.”
