CFRA is a statewide membership association. Our members work together to inform public policy, build sustainable futures for California families, and share their knowledge and resources. Together, CFRA members provide a unifying and powerful voice for organizations and individuals that serve California's children, families and communities.

A primary focus during our first three years of operation is on developing a strong and growing membership and building strategic alliances with other advocacy organizations.

Membership categories:

• Individuals — professionals, practitioners, technical assistance consultants, community and business leaders, state and local policymakers
• Nonprofit Organizations — family resource centers, family support organizations, community based organizations, health care organizations, faith based organizations, cultural groups,
• Corporations / Foundations — private funders, corporate sponsors
• Government / Institutions — state and county agencies, First 5, governing bodies, research institutions, schools, chambers of commerce
• Friends of CFRA — families, students, retirees
