CFRA is a statewide membership association of organizations and individuals working to build vibrant communities that put children and families first. Founded in 2005, CFRA advocates for policies, programs and resources that help families and communities thrive and succeed. CFRA also works to build the capacity of its member organizations and creates networks that link people and resources. CFRA’s policy focus is in the areas of child welfare, mental health, economic success and school readiness.

CFRA Announces Strategy to Help Members Access ACA Grants
CFRA announced Wednesday, May 18, 2011, it's strategy to ensure its members have access to opportunities related to the ACA in California. CFRA will inform, position and prepare its members for participation in the ACA to the benefit of the families and communities FSOs serve. CFRA will advocate for its members in partnership with allies and coalitions, and will represent its members with the California Health Benefit Exchange responsible for the rollout of California's ACA.
